M. Ward Papers, 1893-1960.

Papers consist of typescript and ms. letters written to her family, chiefly 1923-1932, offering detailed account of her life in Turkey including her work in American schools in the cities of Bursa and Merzifon and the activities of other teachers and missionaries, with additional excerpted letters from her undergraduate years (1893-1897) at Mount Holyoke College. Also includes extensive postcard collection from Jerusalem, Syria and Turkey.
